I experienced the same thing many others have complained of. I ordered a holster from them at a cost that seemed to good to be true--you know how that works. They sent me an order confirmation followed by a shipping confirmation with a UPS tracking number. I forgot about it for a couple weeks. Then, about 10 business days later no package. I got suspicious and googled "botach rip off." I got dozens of hits... I wish I'd looked earlier. I checked the tracking number and just like many others have reported it showed no activity. I emailed the company and after agressively demanding that they immediately ship they told me that the item was "out of stock" even though they had stated that they had shipped it! Obviously I canceled the transaction through my bank and I'm going to file a report with the Los Angeles Better Business Bureau. Unfortunately there's not a whole lot else we can do until someone decides to put together a lawsuit. Obviously, avoid these clowns at all costs.

Nothing to discuss, Dan. Your company's rebuttal to my complaint to the LA BBB says it all. In the rebuttal you SPECIFICALLY mention the VISA rules which allow you up to 30 days to ship an order. It's crystal clear what you are doing here. You are deliberately charging customers' cards and then holding the order for as long as you can within the limits of the VISA merchant agreement. Your company's management are nothing more than common punks who hide behind the "letter" of the law while screwing over your victims... oops, customers. I hope everyone responsible lives a very long life so you can have plenty of time to reflect on your greed and deception.

I DID report them to the LA BBB. It's very simple; you can do it online. If enough of us report these clowns MAYBE something will get done. In the meantime, don't wait for Botach to ship your order. They WON'T. I did some research and per vendor agreement, they have 30 days to ship a product once ordered. My guess is that their MO is to charge your card ASAP, then send a phantom UPS "tracking" number, then see how long they can hold your funds. When asked, they will claim "backorder," even though they sent you an email saying the item has been shipped. Then they buy time until you dispute the charge with your cc company. Dispicable. Sadly, there is virtually nothing we can do about it. We cannot complain to VISA... there is simply NO mechanism to do so. It's not technically fraud. So, keep hitting up the LA BBB. Maybe it will do something... maybe.

I ordered an item from Botach, and after 20 days, they say it is shipped, and back ordered? WHAT?? I'll give it five more days then I'll cancel the credit card order. I've been reading horror stories that go back to the year 2000 about this company. BBB rating of "B" with 380+ complaints. What have I done!
