I ordered an item for my rifle and was told it was in stock, the next day I was sent a e-mail stating that the item had shipped. I checked with the UPS web site and they in fact had received a manifest order ( which means intent to ship). A week later UPS still had not received the actual item. I called Botach several times on the phone and depending on the operator I was told a different story, from either it's on the way, it's going out tomorrow, the warehouse has it etc. etc.. They eventually called me and told me the item was not in stock (no big surprise here)so I cancelled the order. Now I've been fighting with them to refund my money. SO FOR YOUR SANITY ORDER FROM SOMEONE ELSE.....

This was my second order, the first having gone OK but was a little delayed due to me entering the wrong billing address. I placed an order for a hard to find item that they showed in stock. Two or three days later I received a shipping notice and upon checking it, only the manifest had been received which is normal for checking it the same day right? Next day, same thing. Next day, same thing. I tried calling and was connected to a google voice mailbox. I tried the chat help and the dude disappeared after I asked the first question. After about 7 days of trying to contact me the chat help told me to email them my question. I had already missed an opportunity to buy the item elsewhere and was now really nervous after reading this page. I recieved an email response that day, that the items had shipped and to check the UPS tracking the next day and the activity would show up. Next day, I check and its there but it shows the first activity in Ohio, not California and then I received the items the next day and I received what I ordered. I like their prices, but if you are looking for instant gratification or competent customer service, go elsewhere because these guys will certainly get your blood pressure up. After reading these comments, I think I got my items by accident. |
