Botach Tactical - Having problems
Hopefully this order won't turn up in the "recycled" bin. Placed an order for Colt 1911.
I had my FFL send his certificate which he did the day after the sales transaction (they immediately charged my credit card). They did send me sale invoice the same day as transaction. I sent them 2 follow up emails asking how long it takes to process order. Several days later I get email saying I need to have my FFL send his certificate.
I called and spoke to same sales person (Brenda Olguin) and told her it was sent the day after the transaction. She said it wasn't received (which I knew NOT to be correct because he had sent me a copy of certificate). I forwarded her a copy of the email/certificate. She acknowledged it was received.
I wanted to make sure the gun was still in stock and that "mine" wasn't being sold. She gave me some explanation that sales would only know that. I asked her to transfer me to sales. She couldn't do this because she said she is on cell phone.
I called back and BRENDA answered the phone again. I asked if this gun is in stock and she "verified" that their stock references 2 in stock. I asked how long does the process take to complete. She said 5-10 days.
So, I'm hoping this situation doesn't turn into me calling my credit card company, calling Botach and launching a complaint. Stay tuned.
